I suppose we could add to the moral mallaise the wars on drugs and poverty - one would would think that drug adicts and the poor had enough to worry about without the burden of the omnipotent state decending on them. I suppose we should eventually learn that there is nothing so bad for a man that the unsought help of his brothers cannot make immeasurably worse. Also, what do you think about the conservative argument that Muslim immigration must be stopped and that we will not be safe as long as we have Muslims living freely in Western lands?
