So what about water, air and land pollution caused by companies? i.e., trace amounts of chemicals and pharmaceuticals found in drinking water that causes disease, i.e. the chisso district in china or even here in our own country where dangerous health threatening drugs and chemicals are ingested. These findings have been proven to cause damage over time. What is the accountability for these companies?

There is a tendency for the media to focus on a CEO's dollar compensation without considering value. Most people would view a CEO salary of $10million as large, but if ROI exceeds $250million, that salary is actually very small. Also, if some of the $10million package is accepted as stock options, there is no guarantee to the CEO that the option will produce a return - unless he produces. In a properly structured organization working within a truly free market, what's good for the CEO will be good for the organization - higher CEO salaries will mean higher shareholder returns.

An excellent commentary on the psychological altruistic virus infecting the souls of many individuals today--if it is done for profit it is crooked; therefore, wherever wealth is being created it must be by nefarious means and must be regulated for the good of all.
