Looks like the link to "What Obama Should Say to Iran" here is broken. The proper link should be:

It took Obama for ever to say anything about Iran, but he was qucik in the draw to defend a fellow left wing statist like Manuel Zelaya in Honduras. Please comment on this soon. I am in Honduras and can tell you that the alledged coup was fully legal. Please refer to Mary O´Grady´s opinions in the Wall Street Journal and the Editorials in Investor´s Business Daily for the correct perspective. You can also reach me for comment fia email. Thank you, robert

Thank you for the clear and concise analysis of President Obama's latest actions -- or lack of them.

One aspect of this episode I find fascinating is thinking about what a president would do in a proper society.

A president would not be a running news commentator. If he spoke about other countries it would usually be only to talk of the need for war. (A president might properly cite, in a budget speech calling for a change in the military, for example, conditions in another country, but that would be a rhetorical, after-the-fact usage.) Otherwise the president should spend his time administering the executive branch.

It is amazing to me to see how much news content the president is expected to provide for news media. That isn't a president's job. That should be the job of intellectuals and professional newsmen. Both groups are failing. So, ominously, the media and the public are turning more and more to "the leader."

Thank you for all the work you and others are doing.
