If we start with Individual Liberty and base all laws and rules on this one simple fundamental principal all of our discussions about big governments actions and policies wouldn't even exist.

Individual Liberty is the only way to find out the best way to do anything.

Evolution is the ultimate example of Individual Liberty and the Free Market producing the best of everything.

Mr. Bowden,

Excellent!! I've long thought that satire is a very effective tool in political commentary. There are no good satirists now- possibly because it's too dangerous now, too many verbotten topics. Not a happy thought.

Mr. Bowden,
I have been enjoying your op-eds and your taped lectures for quite a while. I have purchased several copies of your book on Columbus to hand out---one of which went to my son's ultra-liberal US history teacher. I just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much I appreciate your work. Thank you.
This last one was darkly brilliant.

If only the constitution were setup to defend individual liberty, maybe we'd be in a better situation. The constitution was a bloodless coup to wrest power from the individual and sovereign states and create a massive central government with the power to control every individual. If you don't believe that yet, investigate it, and you will find that I am right.

Jefferson had it right in the Declaration. (Especially when he says that we have the right and we ought to be free and independent states.) Unfortunately men with uglier designs won in the secret constitution convention.
