		<description>Dear Mr Journo:

Greetings and Warmest Wishes for Your Continued Success.

Sir. Countries are not amongst the things that are metaphysically extant; but rather, countries are man made constructs. They are tools used to accomplish and achieve a goal, to obtain the benefits of liberty via exercise of laissez faire capitalism. Consequently, no country or nation-state is an end unto itself.

There is no such thing or state of affairs as imagined by those who fantasize a &quot;super-nature&quot; or existence other than existence. Of course, that then means all forms of the metaphysical primacy of consciousness are false and the metaphysical primacy of existence is absolute. This means no country, nation-state, or other political institution can have a magical claim to the loyalty of and self-sacrifice of any rational reasoning Homo Sapien with volitional will.

Since countries, nation-states, or other political institutions do not have magical powers, the people who claim that groups of individuals are somehow impressed into a collective &quot;us&quot; or &quot;we&quot; or &quot;society&quot; or &quot;tribe&quot; or &quot;community&quot; by magical powers of countries, nation-states, or other political institutions are expressing falsehoods.

It is widely known that the Iranian leadership is composed of people who believe in the magical power of the state to form a collective from the population of individuals inhabiting the geographical territory over which the Iranian government holds jurisdiction. Similar and in some cases almost identical beliefs are held by a large majority of citizens of the United States and the State of Israel.

Arguments such as that composed by yourself in the brief essay entitled &quot;A nuclear Iran&quot; that presuppose supernatural magic of the nation-state to form a collective are indicated by use of phrases &quot;Tehran to ramp up work to arm itself&quot; or &quot;the threat it poses to us.&quot; But since there is not any such thing as magic of the nation-state as imagined and presupposed by the Romanticists philosophers, then arguments of the type formed in your essay cannot fail to lack power to sway or influence.

Best Regards and Warm Wishes
